Wiring a Lighted Makeup Mirror
Lighted makeup mirror – Makeup mirrors often have more of a spotlight on the mirror. A light bulb shadows at an angle on the face, but multiple bulbs spread light and illuminate the face of all sides. Wiring multiple foci in a mirror is a simple procedure that can be done in half an hour or less. The bulbs are connected in series, which means is connected one after the other through the circuit. Put plugs mirror in front of you on a work table or desk. If decorative box outlets cover the light bulb for the mirror, like many makeup vanity mirrors, unscrew the box to access to jacks. Loosen the screws on the sides of the bulb sockets. Each outlet has two out perpendicular to making itself parallel screws. These screws provide cables to connect the circuit. Cut a strand of 12-gauge wire approximately 6 inches long. About half an inch from one end of the strip away and enter this end under the outer screw socket in the outer position in relation to other outlets.
Wrap the bare wire around the neck screw and tighten the screw head against the bare wire. Cut another strip 12 gauge wire enough that both ends subject to two separate shots, probably about 6 inches. Strip about a half inch of insulation from both ends of the wire and wrap one end of the clamp screw vacuum decision have already begun to wire. Place the bare wire red insulated wire against the bare wire strand hanging finger and wrap the wires around each other. Screw a wire nut over them. Repeat this process for the black insulated wire from the lamp cord and the other hanging wire, which should be the first cable connected to the first. Wrap duct tape over any bare spots that leftover peel away too wires. Insert the bulbs and connect the circuit to the wall. Now you can try to wiring a lighted makeup mirror.
